We are currently recruiting for a permanent Reservations Agent to join our Central Reservations team based at Dorsett Shepherds Bush Hotel. As a Reservations Agent, you will be an enthusiastic, well-presented individual to play a vital role in the successful growth and development of the company.
The Reservations Agent will primarily take responsibility for inbound reservation enquiries, dealing with agents and guests, hosting property show-arounds, chasing and converting enquiries and some invoicing. You will also assist the guest experience team to ensure guests have truly memorable and seamless stays, supporting across front desk duties when needed.

Dorsett Hospitality International currently operates 2 hotels in London, Dorsett Shepherds Bush & Dorsett City London, with 3 new properties set to open, including an exciting new serviced apartment brand.
The successful candidate will enjoy interacting with guests and agents over the phone, have excellent attention to detail, and a revenue & sales orientated mind-set.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The role involves the following (however not limited to):
- To take reservations in accordance with the agreed Departmental Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring all relevant information is obtained, using block and allocation where applicable.
- To be fully aware of the selling status of the Hotel at all times
- To be able to read and understand the PMS for all revenue streams
- Process non arrivals and cancellations daily and in a timely manner
- Ensure payment and billing is organized and communicated correctly for all reservations
- To discuss any problems regarding bookings with the Reservations Manager, with ideas for appropriately solutions were necessary.
- To be fully conversant with all the Hotel and Company’s facilities.
- To establish and maintain a knowledge of the Hotel’s main competitors and their pricing
- To ensure the delivery of the hotel standards are met by maximizing and exceeding customer expectations at all times
- Inform Reception of any VIP booking/cancellations/amendments on the day of arrival
- Communicates with F&B regarding restaurant reservations
- To process all emails/faxes/letters, sending replies within 24 hours of receipt.
- Inform other departments of relevant information regarding bookings in accordance with the departmental procedure
- Knowledge of OPERA is essential.
