Floor Supervisor 2022-07-18

We are looking to fill the position of Floor Supervisor to be part of a dynamic Housekeeping Team at Dorsett City, London. As a Floor Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising the activities of the room attendant, floor porters and agency staff. To ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained in our guest rooms, back of house and public areas. The successful candidate must be flexible to carryout any tasks to support other departments.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for leading and directing the room attendants and porters.
• Supervise the distribution of work assignments to room attendants and porters.
• Dealing with guest requests and enquiries
• Motivating the team and creating a respectful rapport with our guest and team.
• Working closing with reception of a constant flow of serviced guest rooms as per occupancy requirements.
• Report any maintenance items or defects found in the rooms and assigned areas.
• Ensure soft furnishings and décor of rooms are maintained to standard, reporting any defects or special cleaning to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Conduct training sessions where appropriate.
• Carryout daily briefing with the team.
• Working knowledge of Opera is desirable
