Job Responsibilities:
Assist the Security Manager in directing and co-coordinating overall activities of the the department to achieve maximum efficiency and safety measures as required by the Hotel.
Prepare monthly duty roster, monthly attendance and overtime claims for the department.
To ensure all security personnel discharge their duties accordingly and without fear or favor. To take necessary discipline action against staff misconduct, misdemeanor and dishonesty.
Handling of guest complaint on missing items, institute investigation if necessary and provide assistance if they required to lodge police report.
To assist Human Resources Manager to conduct investigation on staff disciplinary and conduct spot checks.
To ensure the smooth running of daily security operations and to maintain high level of security presence and discipline.
To conduct regular surprise and planned inspection of Duty Post to ensure the security personnel carried out their duty diligently and efficiently.
To ensure no obstruction at the hotel driveway and a smooth traffic flows. To ensure no taxi driver touting for passenger at our driveway.
To assist in providing continuous training to the security personnel to maintain their competency and discipline.
Responsible for matters in security department pertaining to providing, administering and conducting daily briefing for the security department before the shift commence.
To ensure all equipment’s belonging to security department are properly accounted for are serviceable.
To perform any other related job functions assigned by the Security & Safety Manager. VVIP security escort upon request.
To conduct Fire Safety briefing upon request by function guests.
Job Requirements:
Establish effectiveness employee relation, maintains the highest level of professionalism, ethic and attitude towards the hotel quest, clients, head of department and employees.
Strong communication and writing both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Computer literatePresentable with good personality and positive attitude.
Maximum with 2- 5 year experience in related field.
Immediate availability will be preferred and added advantage.
